Staffing: Some new appointments At the Beaver County VA Outpatient Clinic in Rochester
Battlefield Acupuncture was started in the clinic on 6/9/25. Provided by Charlene David on Mondays from 9-11 AM. Consults/referrals can bemade by your provider. BFA is done in a group setting which allows for increased number of Veterans to receive treatment for pain, PTSD, or anxiety.
Dr. Schirda, VA psychologist, is now at the CBOC four days per week currently doing telehealth, and will eventually add face to face care.
Allergy shots are now offered at the CBOC but have not been administered yet. The CBOC will administer allergy injections for Veterans already established at the allergy clinic.
New Medical Support Assistant (MSA), Leah Alexander, was hired and continues to remain employed at the CBOC. A new Medical Office Receptionist, Paige Lema, was also hired and is in the onboarding process.
